Upton House provides structured ASAM 3.1 level recovery housing for individuals seeking stability, accountability, and long-term recovery. Our admissions process is designed to ensure appropriate placement and a strong fit for the house environment.

  1. Complete the online screening form

  2. Clinical review and follow-up call

  3. Determination of appropriateness

  4. Admission scheduling and orientation

  • Valid photo ID

  • Insurance information

  • Prescribed medications (in original bottles)

  • Personal hygiene items

  • Appropriate clothing

  • Individuals appropriate for ASAM 3.1 level of care

  • Medically stable

  • Able to participate in structured programming

  • Committed to accountability and recovery expectations

  • Approved payer source (Maryland Medicaid or private pay, if applicable) We can help anyone who does not have insurance but is eligible to apply for Medicaid
